Primary 6/7 - Miss Baxter

P6/7, P5/6 and P7 have loved their STEM topic so far! Each teacher is running two challenges for each class. They first one we did was a ‘Tower Challenge’. We had to see who could build the biggest tower using just Midget Gems and toothpicks. First, we worked with our partners to draw a plan up on a sheet. After that, we tried building our towers. It was a lot harder than it looked and we had to keep changing our designs, but we got there in the end!

Today, we had a visit from the SSPCA. They spoke to us about how to take care of wildlife and to help protect wild animals in our area. Then we built robotic rabbits and programmed them to move using tablets. It was so much fun!
